Registration is open for spring sports in Mansfield


Did Santa bring someone in your house a new glove or a set of cleats? Now’s the time to register for spring sports, and Mansfield residents have plenty of options to choose from.

Registration fees vary by age, but all include a hat and jersey. MYBA has a 12 game season, and teams are divided by age as of April 30, 2017.  Each player is responsible for registering themselves, but you can specify a team with their unique code given by the coach. Mansfield Girls Softball Association

Softball registration is not open yet, but keep an eye on the MGSA website for details that will be posted soon.

Registration fees and included items vary by age; teams are divided by birth year. Players must be three years old by January 1 to enroll; leagues continue through to competitive (U11-U19) and Coed over 30. Registration available online or in person during selected hours; contact MSA for details.

Mansfield Area Tennis Association has registration open now for all of its spring programs. Winter Hot Shots is a weekly program for beginning tennis players ages 5-10; the six-week season fees are $20 per player for every Tuesday starting January 10th. Spring Break Camp for ages 5-10 runs March 13 -15 at Legacy High School tennis courts.

MATA also offers a Sunday Mixed League for adults that begins on February 26th at Legacy High School tennis courts and drop in Match Play starts March 25th at Legacy High School; free to the public. The Fieldhouse is Mansfield’s newest destination for youth sports, offering year round basketball, volleyball and futsal soccer leagues for Kindergarten through High School ages. They also have specialized, sport-specific private training for pre-K through college age athletes and adult recreational leagues. Registration for spring sessions is ongoing now, go online to get forms, further details and sign up.
