Mansfield well represented in Dallas Business Journal rankings


If you check out the 2017 Dallas Business Journal “Book of Lists,” you’ll find several Mansfield connections.

Mansfield-based Venus Construction Company is listed as the 32nd fastest growing private company. Venus Construction is a family-owned and operated underground utility construction company that has been in business since 1967.

Several retailers doing business in Mansfield were also included in the DBJ rankings. In the North Texas retail leases rankings by square footage signed in 2015, Hobby Lobby was 6th and Sprouts was 24th. Hobby Lobby currently has 55,000 square-feet of retail space under construction in the Mansfield Marketplace shopping center next to Kohls. Sprouts Farmers Market opened at Matlock and Debbie Lane in 2015.

RE/MAX Associates of Arlington and Mansfield was ranked 16th on the North Texas residential real estate brokerage firm list, ranked by the transactions closed in 2015. RE/MAX had 1,440 transactions closed at a value of $705 million.

The Mansfield Economic Development Corporation ranked No. 16 on the North Texas Economic Development Agencies list, ranked by the total value of deals completed in 2015. Mansfield Economic Development Corporation closed 14 deals for a value of $74.98 million.
