Basketball Camp (7-15Y)


Half days, three individual weeks to choose from
A great way to spend your week! All levels are welcome as we focus on individual skills and mental toughness. Our focus will include: ball handling, shooting, defense, footwork, life skills, basketball IQ, off-ball movement and more! Registration ends the Friday before camp.

TGA Premier Youth Tennis Camp (5-14Y)

Half days, three individual weeks to choose from
This is a perfect fit for any child looking to learn the game or sharpen their skills. TGA stands for Teach, Grow, and Achieve and is the first and only National Tennis Enrichment Program in the U.S. Tennis skills will be taught and developed through physical activity, character development, and academic lessons. Register one week prior to receive a free tennis racket. Class held at Legacy High School (1263 Main St).

Junior Golf Camp (6-15Y)

Full days, six individual weeks to choose from
Join us for a fun-filled way for kids to learn and improve their golf game in a fun and safe environment. The staff are experts at teaching the game to young golfers and are committed to providing the tools to enjoy the great game for a lifetime. Class held at Mansfield National Golf Club (3750 National Pkwy). Registration ends the Friday before camp.

Soccer Shots Camp (4-10Y)

Half days, three individual weeks to choose from
Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. Our coaches are the best-trained in the business. Our expert-approved curriculum is age-appropriate and aligns with childhood education standards. In addition we provide an exceptional customer experience and ongoing communication with parents. Adventure Camp (10Y+)

Adventure camp

Evening camp, two separate weeks based on age
Looking to have an outdoor adventure close to home this summer? Come to Adventure Camp and try out your outdoor skills with us and learn about, fishing, wildlife ID, hiking, and more! Friday night during camp hours the camper’s immediate family will be invited to stay for an evening of fun. Campers will be teaching their siblings skills they have learned throughout the week. The evening will end with a campfire and s’mores. An Oliver Nature Park t-shirt is included in registration. Pre-registration required by the Friday prior at 9am.

Forest Camp (5Y+)

Forest Camp

Half-days, two separate weeks based on age
$75-$100/week depending on age
Students will learn all about the layers of the forest including the plants, animals and insects that live there. Each day we will study a specific layer of the forest: forest floor, herb layer, shrub layer, understory, and canopy. Daily activities will include crafts, experiments, nature walks, games, and hands on nature exploration. A snack related to the theme will be included each day. An Oliver Nature Park t-shirt is included in registration. Pre-registration required by the Friday prior at 9am.

iNaturalist Camp (13-16Y)

iNaturalist camp

Half day, one day camp
Join us for a photo-filled one day camp and learn about becoming a citizen scientist. This program is geared towards students entering 7th-10th grade who want to learn more about iNaturalist and build their knowledge of nature. Students need to download the iNaturalist app to their smart phones prior to camp. Pre-registration required.

Kids Zone 6-11Y

Kids Zone

Full days, all summer long
Kids Zone, a supervised full-day camp for girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 11, runs the entire summer and can be booked for the entire season or by the week. Daily activities include sports and gym play, library time, crafts and art classes, park excursions, water days, special guests, ice skating, bowling and more, as well as a unique destination field trip each week.

Note: Kids Zone weeks fill quickly, but contact the MAC to be placed on the waiting list if the week you’re interested in is booked as plans often change throughout the summer and spaces may open up.

Registration for all camps is now open but filling fast. You must be a member of the Mansfield Activities Center to register for athletic camps; to create an account please visit the MAC Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm, and 9 am-4 pm Saturday. MAC membership is not required for Nature Camps, but you do need to visit the MAC to register for programs or create an online account and use our easy online registration system. Once the account has been established, you can renew online and sign up for all your programs with just a click.

Rates shown are the early registration discount, which ends three business days before the camp begins. Individual camps may have specific registration deadlines, see each online listing or call the MAC for more details. Parents are advised to call or go online quickly, as spaces in the award winning Mansfield Parks and Recreation department’s summer camps are quickly becoming the hottest thing each summer besides the Texas sun.
