Breaks from school don’t have to mean hours spent in front of screens; spring break camps from Mansfield Parks & Recreation offer a variety of sport enrichment for kids of all ages.
The Kids Zone day camp is one of the most popular programs, with last year’s openings filled in just an hour. Check out the options available this coming March and mark your calendars for 9 a.m. on Jan. 22, when registration opens.
A great way to spend your week All levels are welcome as we focus on individual skills and mental toughness. Our focus will include: ball handling, shooting, defense, footwork, life skills, basketball IQ, off-ball movement and more. Camp is held at the Mansfield Activities Center, 106 S. Wisteria St.

Join us for a fun-filled way for kids to learn and improve their golf game in a fun and safe environment. The staff are experts at teaching the game to young golfers and are committed to providing the tools to enjoy the great game for a lifetime. Class held at Mansfield National Golf Club, 3750 National Parkway.

TGA makes it fun and convenient for your child to learn both lifelong sports and help foster an enjoyment and appreciation while working on fitness and coordination. Equipment is age appropriate and camp will split between tennis and golf. Class held at Chandler Park, 1530 N Walnut Creek Dr.

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. The coaching team works to positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. The highly-trained coaches use expert-approved curriculum that is age-appropriate and aligns with childhood education standards. In addition coaches have ongoing communication with parents.

Kids Zone, a supervised, full-day camp for girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 11, runs the entire spring break week. Daily activities include sports and gym play, library time, crafts and art classes, park excursions and special guests, as well as field trips.

Participants or families must be members of the Mansfield Activities Center to register for athletic camps. To register, visit the MAC from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, or go online and create an account to sign up for all your programs with just a click. Register three business days before the camp begins to save $5 with our early-bird discount. Parents are advised to call or go online quickly, as spaces in the award winning Mansfield Parks and Recreation department’s camps are very limited and fill quickly.
